I'm in the midst of a long drive from Austin, TX. to Washington State. I spent a few glorious days in Taos, played at the Taos Inn, and enjoyed hot springs and river swimming.
I am in Boulder, Colorado now, and have been jamming with my buddy Justin Roots. I got to see Wilco at Red Rock Amphitheater last night- that place is gorgeous. Justin and I can't wait to play there someday. ;)
I'm not sure how to sum up my last few months in Austin. . . so here are some pictures of the people and places that have rocked my world.

I had the honor of working on the stage crew at the Kerrville Folk Festival- here we are back stage under the full moon (obviously working really hard.)
I also got to hang out with some of my favorite songwriters and biggest songwriting inspirations- Gregory Isakov, Ron Scott, and Marc Brenton- and my amazing friend Bayard Blain who makes some of the nicest guitars.... ever. It blows my mind that I get to hang out with these guys. They are so crazy talented.

Post-Kerrville, pre leaving Austin, some Bellingham friends converged in Austin and we took over 2-stepping night at the Broken Spoke.
I had a big going away party at House Wine in Austin- featuring 10 of my songwriter friends. It was an epic lovefest of song and I miss Austin already.
In a few days I head to the Grand Teton National Park for a purportedly epic "bluegrass open mic" followed by 2-day adventure with my hardcore gal pal who works for the park. It's gonna be epic!
I am doing what I love every day and I'm so grateful. Thanks to all my friends and family for supporting my journey. <3
